Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a passionate Cook to join the culinary team at OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park in Oklahoma City. You will assist in production, support the chef, and help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen while learning menus that reflect seasonal availability and concepts.

The role requires active food-handling certification or the ability to obtain one, flexibility for day/night and weekend shifts, and strong organizational skills with the stamina to work on your feet

Qualifications

• Active food handler’s certification or ability to obtain one.
• Willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Develop knowledge and skills in cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté and fry).
• Experience using knives and kitchen equipment.
• Reach and recreate recipes with consistency.
• Work to minimize food waste through cross-utilization.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking and ensure a sanitized kitchen.
• Maintain orderliness and proper storage of foods and supplies.
• Collaborate with the culinary leadership team to create menus reflecting seasonal availability and concepts.
• Contribute to a positive, professional kitchen environment.
