Qualifications

• Experience supervising kitchen staff and ensuring consistent food quality.
• Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards in a high-volume kitchen.
• Coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and supervises kitchen staff for daily food production.
• Inspects mise en place and presentation to meet quality standards.
• Maintains quality, cost control, eye appeal, and flavor of foods.
• Coordinates service between kitchen and service staff; attends shift meetings.
• Works hands-on in stations as directed by Executive Chef.
• Utilizes excess or stored items creatively to reduce waste.
• Supervises staff to maximize productivity and professionalism.
• Ensures sanitation standards and compliance with health regulations.
• Ensures safe and secure work areas; reports unsafe conditions.
