Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves washing dishes and general cleaning duties, including floor care and trash removal, in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of prior work experience, and a Maricopa Food Handler's Card, with ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, preferred.
• At least one (1) year of prior work experience, required.
• Maricopa Food Handler's Card and ServSafe Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather pots and pans to wash in a three (3) compartment sink or a pot machine; breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware as they arrive in the dish area, then return items to the appropriate storage location.
• Maintain chemical detergents in all applicable equipment such as dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers.
• Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweep and mop all floors, wash all floor mats; clean kitchen equipment to include but not limited to dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, etc.
• Separate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage, including potential biohazard cleanup.
• Maintain inventories of linen and remove soiled linen.
• Comply with regulatory departments and with departmental and property policies and procedures, to include Health Department, OSHA, Fire Department, etc.
• Complete mandatory health and safety training as required by the company or regulatory entities.
• Perform other job-related duties as required by management.
