Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Steward/Dishwasher to cover dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties across our facilities. The role includes washing pots, pans, glassware, and maintaining cleanliness in the dish area, with attention to safety and sanitation.

The position requires at least one year of prior work experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and food handling certifications where applicable. Training on health, OSHA, and department policies is provided.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Steward/Dishwasher is responsible for washing dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties to include cleaning and mopping floors and trash removal.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Gather pots and pans to wash in a three (3) compartment sink or a pot machine; breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware as they arrive in the dish area, then return items to the appropriate storage location Maintain chemical detergents in all applicable equipment such as dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers. Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweep and mop all floors, wash all floor mats; clean kitchen equipment to include but not limited to dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, etc. Separate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage, including potential biohazard cleanup. Maintain inventories of linen and remove soiled linen. Comply with regulatory departments and with departmental and property policies and procedures, to include Health Department, OSHA, Fire Department, etc. Complete mandatory health and safety training as required by the company or regulatory entities. Perform other job-related duties as required by management.
