Job summary

The Los Angeles Country Club is seeking a dedicated Stewarding Associate to clean, transport and store china, glassware, silverware, pots and pans across the club’s kitchen and service areas.

You will ensure the sanitation and readiness of kitchen spaces, assist during opening shifts, and support culinary staff as needed. A Food Handler Certification and 5+ years in stewarding or kitchen operations are preferred. This role is on-site with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s certification is required.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage Service Operations is preferred.
• Must be able to operate stewarding equipment safely.
• Must be able to read and understand English and communicate professionally.
• Chemical safety and cleaning techniques knowledge is required.
• Proactive, flexible problem solving and strong teamwork.
• Reliable and punctual; demonstrates urgency when needed.
• Experience in hospitality stewarding or kitchen operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, transport and store china, glassware, silverware/flatware, pots, pans, and service utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and storage spaces; ensure items are available for shifts.
• Assist culinary staff and prep areas as needed and directed by supervisors.
• Ensure proper sanitation of ovens, stoves, hoods, and floors.
• Support opening shifts and manage workflow to keep service running smoothly.
