Job summary

Hideaway Golf Club in California seeks a Steward/Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of its culinary operations, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready to support daily kitchen needs and exceptional dining experiences for Members and Guests.

Under the direction of the Executive Chef and Culinary Leadership, you will operate dishwashing equipment, sanitize wares, assist with kitchen organization, and support banquets and events while upholding food safety and

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing, stewarding, janitorial, or food service experience preferred.
• Experience in a private club, luxury resort, hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Riverside County Food Handler Card required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, rinse, sanitize, dry, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment throughout each meal period.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen cleaning procedures.
• Support banquet functions, tournaments, and special events as assigned.
• Communicate equipment malfunctions or operational concerns to Culinary Leadership.
