Job summary

Hideaway Golf Club in California seeks a dedicated Steward/Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the culinary area, ensuring gear and equipment are ready for daily operations.

Under supervision of Culinary leadership, you will operate dishwashing equipment, support banquet and daily meals, uphold HACCP and sanitation standards, and contribute to a safe, hospitality-driven environment for Members and Guests.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing, stewarding, janitorial, or food service experience preferred.
• Experience in a private club, luxury resort, hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment preferred.
• Current Riverside County Food Handler Card is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, rinse, sanitize, dry, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment throughout each meal period.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Culinary Leadership and Team Members to support efficient kitchen operations.
