Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a Kitchen Steward for the Chamberlain West Hollywood, CA. You will help keep the kitchen clean and organized, supporting the culinary team to ensure smooth service.

This role requires stamina, attention to detail, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Kitchen Steward will sanitize equipment, assist with waste disposal, and help manage cleaning supplies in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen steward or similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize all kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment promptly and thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and work surfaces throughout the shift.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of supplies.
• Support the culinary team by organizing and maintaining kitchen storage areas and dishwashing stations.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to comply with health department standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team immediately.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
