Job summary

Hotel Clark is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support daily back-of-house operations in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. You will wash, sanitize, and store dishware and cookware, operate dishwashing equipment, and assist cooks and service teams to ensure service readiness.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork with culinary and stewarding staff. A California food handler awareness and physical stamina are important for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel operations is helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and utensils.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organization of back-of-house areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing station, floors, walls, and storage areas.
• Support sanitation, safety, and food-handling standards as directed.
