• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and prep areas.
• Follows safety procedures and uses cleaning chemicals appropriately.
• Works as part of a kitchen team to support service goals.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and runs them through dishwashing equipment or by hand.
• Washes pots, pans, trays, and surfaces to ensure cleanliness.
• Polishes silver if required and maintains kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and sanitary; sweeps and mops floors as needed.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas and assists with loading/unloading.
