Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a dependable dishwasher to support a fast-paced kitchen in Ohio. You will help with cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining an orderly dining area.

Responsibilities include washing and stacking dishes, cleaning floors, and following safety guidelines. The role requires standing for long periods and a basic kitchen background. We offer a dynamic team setting with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months experience in kitchen work.
• Sanitation certificate from local Health Department.
• Must stand for long periods.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, lift up to 25 lbs., and perform duties in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tableware for washing
• Collecting all soiled pots, washes and restacks cleaned pots on shelves
• Responsible for removal of garbage and refuse
• Mopping, scrubbing, rinsing and polishing hard floors
• Washing walls and ceiling tiles
• Cleaning and sanitizing all cooking equipment
• Proper maintenance and distribution of company assets
• Setting up dishwashing machine
• Stacking and stores clean dishes in proper kitchen areas
• Recognizing and using appropriate chemicals
• Cleaning all floors
• Other duties as necessary
