Qualifications

• Dishwashing, kitchen, cleaning, or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment after training.
• Reliability and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work safely around hot water, chemicals, sharp objects, and wet floors.
• Required food-safety certification, or ability to obtain it within the required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and service equipment.
• Return clean items to designated kitchens, outlets, and storage areas.
• Operate dish machines and cleaning equipment per training.
• Report broken items, equipment problems, and supply shortages.
• Clean dish areas, kitchen floors, work surfaces, storage spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost according to hotel procedures.
• Assist with moving and organizing banquet and outlet equipment.
• Keep service paths clear and safe.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning tasks.
• Use chemicals according to training and sanitation procedures.
• Report spills, injuries, damaged equipment, and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Work with urgency and communicate respectfully with culinary and service teams.
