Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and move continuously.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a steady flow of clean items to support kitchen and dining room operations.
• Properly sort, stack, and store clean dishes and equipment in designated areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing machines, sinks, floors, drains, mats, and work areas.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing storage areas as needed.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep and cleaning tasks when assigned.
• Follow all health, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with all front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
