Job summary

IWS Group is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary dishes, utensils, cookware, kitchen equipment, and work areas while helping the kitchen operate efficiently.

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies as needed.

• Must follow proper sanitation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Load and unload commercial dishwashing machines.
• Scrape and pre-rinse dishes before washing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and food-preparation tasks when needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Report broken or damaged equipment to a supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the shift.
