Job summary

You will handle dishwashing, pots and trays, silver polish, and duties that ensure safety and sanitation. This role requires standing, lifting, and a pace aligned with a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of proper dishwashing and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and work during busy shifts.
• Stands for long periods and moves quickly.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures.
• Polishes silver using chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on equipment.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
