Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry‑level team member for a dishwashing role in Malibu. You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, wash wares, and support deliveries while delivering courteous, efficient service to customers and fellow Team Members.

This position requires punctuality, proper grooming, and readiness for required trainings. You will adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards and participate in opening/closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment to safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
