Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Malibu, CA is seeking a Kitchen/Dishwasher team member to maintain cleanliness, handle dishwashing duties, and support the kitchen and store operations. You will assist with deliveries, restock, and ensure hygienic conditions throughout the shift.

The role requires reliable attendance, teamwork, and strong customer service when assisting customers and team members. Candidates should be able to lift, stand, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practices; maintains a clean and sanitary environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
