Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support our kitchen operations at the Malibu location. The role focuses on dishwashing, sanitation, and maintaining a clean work space. You will work as part of a team, handle a fast-paced environment, and follow safety and health guidelines.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required. New entrants welcome; no prior retail experience needed.

Qualifications

• Dishwashing experience not required
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
