Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support kitchen operations and hygiene in our community. The role focuses on washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and equipment while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining stocked supplies, performing routine cleaning per policies, and collaborating with the culinary team to ensure smooth service and a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
