Job summary

Casino Del Sol in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Steward to ensure all dishware, glassware, flatware, and other eating utensils, as well as pots and pans, are cleaned and sanitized to our established standards. You will operate dish machines and monitor safety signage as needed.

You will keep ware organized, support other kitchen areas, monitor supplies, inspect equipment, and participate in cross-training. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishware, glassware, silverware, flatware, and other eating utensils as well as pots and pans according to established standards.
• Keeps dishware, glassware, flatware, and other eating utensils organized and ready for use.
• Assists with maintaining the cleanliness of other kitchen areas, such as work stations and food delivery carts.
• Maintains proper inventory levels of cleaning supplies in own work area; advises supervisor if running short.
• Inspects equipment before and after use; makes sure it is clean and in proper working order.
• Follows established safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions immediately to a supervisor.
• Participates in cross-training, as available, such as learning how to prep food items.
• Works collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth-running operation.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
