Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa is seeking a full-time Steward to maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas and support culinary and service teams. The role involves dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, waste disposal, and assisting with basic prep and banquet setup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and glassware by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces.
• Properly dispose of trash and garbage; clean and maintain garbage cans.
• Sort and process bottles and other recyclables.
• Polish silverware and utensils as needed.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table setup when required.
• Wash and peel vegetables or assist with basic food prep as needed.
• Store and rotate stock in designated areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
