Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a Kitchen Steward (dishwasher) to support the culinary team in Missouri. You will maintain sanitation, coordinate with the Steward Assistant and management, and help ensure clean, safe kitchen operations.

The role requires physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs, flexibility to work any day or shift, and familiarity with cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment. Serve Safe training and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year kitchen cleaning experience.
• Flexible to work any day, any shift.
• Familiar with handling cleaning chemicals and compounds.
• Familiar with cleaning all types of kitchen equipment.
• Ability to successfully complete the Serve Safe training class.
• Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation levels and cleanliness of the kitchen and work stations.
• Move and store supplies, and ensure proper equipment for staff use.
• Train kitchen workers on safety and proper chemical usage.
• Ensure Wet Floor signs and safety markers are used.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Ensure equipment functions properly and maintain professional conduct.
