Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a kitchen steward to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the back-of-house areas. You will clean dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and keep floors and surfaces spotless to support a smooth kitchen operation.

Responsibilities include handling waste properly and using appropriate cleaning chemicals, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. This is a full-time, on-site role located at our facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and handling techniques.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean dishes, silverware, and glassware by hand or automatic dishwasher.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Dispose waste into designated waste areas.
