Boyd Gaming is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support our busy casino kitchen operations in Kansas City. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation, wash and store equipment, and help manage inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities emphasize adherence to food safety, proper waste disposal, and teamwork. The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to follow directions while contributing to operational excellence in a dynamic setting.

Qualificações

• Experience in kitchen sanitation, dishwashing, or food service support.
• Knowledge of food safety and health code regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Stand for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to facility safety standards and procedures.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and machinery.
• Previous experience in a high-volume food service operation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including surfaces, equipment and floors.
• Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment and dishware.
• Manage kitchen waste disposal and recycling procedures per standards.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on kitchen equipment.
• Assist with food preparation areas and organize supplies and inventory.
• Support kitchen staff by maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and dining service staff.
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support operational excellence.
