Job summary

Collared Martin Hospitality in Greenport, NY is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support the culinary team and keep the kitchen, dishes, glassware, and utensils clean and organized. You will also help manage detergents, supplies, and inventory, while maintaining clean storage and walk-in areas.

The role requires a High school diploma or equivalent, basic English, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Flexibility with schedule is essential in this busy operation.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
• Experience level: minimal work experience acceptable.
• Ability to work in hot and damp environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas to be clean and in orderly condition.
• Maintain dishes, glassware, utensils and cooking equipment to be clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents, cleaning supplies and monitor all chemical solution concentration.
• Sort and remove the trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Keep floors and floor mats clean.
• Receive and stock deliveries.
• Polishing glassware and silverware.
• Maintain the storage areas clean and organize walk-in cooler.
• Support kitchen operations at the direction of the Executive Chef.
