Ocean Downs Casino in Berlin, MD is seeking a full-time Kitchen Steward to join an overnight team. The role pays $15.00 per hour and offers benefits including medical, paid time off and a 401k.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment, and supporting a fun, high-service environment for guests. A high school diploma is preferred and a Maryland gaming license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees

Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Performs routine cleaning of dishes, glasses, flatware and other kitchen items.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, floors, mats and related areas.
• Maintains standards of cleanliness and adheres to Department of Health Regulations.
• Responsible for proper use of supplies and equipment based on predetermined levels.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
