Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated kitchen helper to maintain cleanliness across kitchen areas and ensure sanitation standards are consistently met. You will support daily operations and assist with food delivery for catered events, contributing to smooth hospitality service.

The role emphasizes a guest-service mindset, reliability, and teamwork, with weekend and holiday availability required to meet hotel needs.

Formación

• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Physical Demands: Standing, manual dexterity, lifting up to 50 lbs, and other physical requirements as described.
• Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans all kitchen areas, to include pots, pans, all silver items, silverware, platters, etc., at all times.
• Sweeps and mops floors at scheduled times and on a needed basis.
• Cleans worktables, mixers, refrigerators, etc., at all times.
• Delivers food for catered functions in a timely manner.
• Cleans kitchen areas and back of house at all times, daily and nightly.
• Adheres to all Sonesta Sanitation and Safety Guidelines.
