Job summary

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa is seeking a Stewarding Attendant to support the Food & Beverage operation by maintaining all cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and back-of-house areas. You will operate dish machines and pot-washing equipment, ensure waste management adherence, and keep carts, shelves and walk-ins clean and organized.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, be flexible to work holidays and weekends, and collaborate closely with the team to uphold safety and

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, able to work holidays, weekends.
• Able to think clearly and make reasonable decisions.
• Ability to identify potential sanitation issues and take corrective action.
• Ability to develop and implement procedures for preventing problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and back-of-house cleanliness and organization.
• Operate dish and pot-washing equipment.
• Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
• Maintain hygienic working environment per Health Dept. regulations.
• Assist in food distribution for venues and events as directed.
• Report maintenance or hazard issues and follow safety protocols.
