Job summary

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is seeking a dedicated Steward to support our Food & Beverage operations. You will maintain cleanliness, sanitation and par stock in kitchen and back-of-house areas, aligning with Health Department guidelines.

This hourly role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, flexible scheduling including holidays and weekends, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork within a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Able to think clearly and make reasonable decisions.
• Ability to identify sanitation issues and maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure kitchen and back-of-house areas are clean and organized at all times.
• Operate dish machines and pot-washing equipment.
• Maintain hygienic working environment per Health Department regulations.
• Assist in food distribution for events as directed.
• Load, unload and store cleaned items safely.
