Job summary

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa is seeking a Stewarding team member to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and par stock in the kitchen and back-of-house areas. You will operate dish and pot-washing equipment, keep floors clean and safe, and follow Health Department guidelines and brand standards.

The role requires previous stewarding experience, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends. Hourly rate: $25.00.

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding experience
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Flexible schedule, able to work holidays, weekends
• Able to think clearly and make reasonable decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen and back of the house is clean, well maintained and organized at all times
• Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times
• Operate dish machines for washing all hotel dishes including chinaware, glassware, flatware
• Operate pot-washing machinery
• Maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with Health Department regulations, Brand and Departmental Standards
• Report any maintenance or hazard issues
• Assist in food distribution for all venues and events, or as directed by manager or chef on duty
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
