Job summary

Limelight Hotels by Aspen One is seeking a Steward to maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, assist in food prep, and support the restaurant team under management direction. The position reports to the Executive Chef. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.50 per hour, with actual pay based on budget and experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to do basic problem-solving.
• Ability to follow oral or written directions in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stack all dishes properly.
• Store dishes and silver in the designated locations.
• Set up cleaning area: dish machine, fill water tanks, and operate the dish machine heating elements.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment and assist with pre/post shift cleaning.
• Assist with storage of food deliveries.
• Clean kitchen walls, floors, loading docks and related areas.
• Disassemble/clean/re-assemble dishwasher before end of shift.
• Post caution signs when floors are wet or being mopped for safety.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean order.
• Assist with preparing food items according to chef specifications.
• Follow daily preparation lists to ensure items are ready for service.
• Report problems with food product, equipment or work area to Executive Steward.
• Other duties as assigned
