Job summary

Aspen One is seeking a Steward to support the kitchen team in cleaning and storing flatware, silver, glass, and kitchen equipment. The role includes assisting with food preparation and reporting to the Chef de Cuisine. Applications are due by August 23, 2026.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and prior kitchen experience; ServSafe or similar certification is preferred. The job emphasizes safety, sanitation, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
• Understanding of industry terminology and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stack all dishes properly.
• Store dishes and silver in the designated locations.
• Set up cleaning area: assemble dish machine, fill water tanks, and activate heating elements.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment; assist with pre/post shift cleaning and organization.
• Assist with storage of food deliveries.
• Clean kitchen walls, floors, loading docks, and related areas.
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble dishwasher before end of shift.
• Post caution signs when floors are wet or being mopped for safety.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly condition.
• Assist with preparing food items according to chef specifications.
• Follow daily preparation list to ensure items are ready for service.
• Report problems with food, equipment, or work area to Executive Steward.
• Other duties as assigned
