Job summary

Limelight Hotels in Boulder, CO is seeking a Steward to clean and store flatware, silver, glass, and kitchen items according to restaurant direction. The role also supports food preparation and reports to the Kitchen Manager. The pay range is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with actual pay based on budget and experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety course certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stack all dishes properly
• Store dishes and silver in the designated locations
• Set up cleaning area: assemble dish machine, fill water tanks, turn on heating elements
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment; participate in pre/post shift cleaning
• Assist with storage of food deliveries
• Clean kitchen walls, floors, loading docks and related areas
• Disassemble, clean and re-assemble dishwasher
• Post caution signs when floors are wet or being mopped for safety
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Assist with preparing food items according to chef specifications
• Follow daily preparation list to ensure items are ready for service
• Report problems with food, equipment or work area to Executive Steward
• Other duties as assigned

Education
