Job summary

Aspen Meadows Resort is seeking a Steward for a full-time position in Aspen, CO. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, storage areas, and equipment, while supporting kitchen staff and ensuring safe handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities include heavy-duty cleaning, operating dishwashing equipment, stocking and organizing storage, and assisting with banquet and buffet setups as needed. Prior experience in hotel or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of china, glass, and silver in kitchens and storage areas.
• Perform heavy-duty cleaning of ovens, grills, sinks, walls, floors, and equipment.
• Ensure sanitation standards and proper handling of chemicals with MSDS knowledge.
• Serve meals in Employee Cafeteria as directed by Chef or Supervisor.
• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean china, glass, and silver thoroughly.
• Return cleaned items to proper storage with care to minimize breakage.
• Report equipment maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.
• Assist with kitchen equipment breakdown, cleaning, and setup as needed.
• Support other kitchen positions as required to meet demand.
