Job summary

Hotel Valencia Riverwalk is seeking a motivated kitchen steward to support the culinary team. You will assist chefs with cleanliness, unload deliveries, and keep floors, walls, and equipment spotless.

You will help with basic kitchen prep and ensure all dishes and supplies are properly organized and cleaned. Role requires basic cooking support, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and reliable teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Full-service hotel experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Entry-level steward roles may not require prior experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role in a larger hotel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chefs with kitchen cleanliness and unload deliveries.
• Wash floors and scrub areas; ensure proper waste handling.
• Clean dishes and equipment; return to proper places.
• Assist with banquet plate-up and ensure clean plates and covers.
• Maintain sanitation in all kitchen and breakroom areas.
• Participate in mandatory trainings and team communications.
