Upper Crust Food Service, LLC is seeking a Kitchen Steward to keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and running smoothly, including washing dishes, putting away deliveries, and assisting with prep as needed. Ideal candidates are dependable, follow food safety practices, and can pass a background check; prior restaurant dishwashing experience and knowledge of operating a commercial dishwasher are preferred.

The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds in a loud, busy kitchen

Qualificações

• Previous restaurant dishwashing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of operating a commercial dishwasher.
• Food safety handler and sanitation certification, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school or vocational coursework in kitchen basics, such as food safety, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and sanitary
• Wash utensils, equipment, and dishes by machine or by hand
• Put away clean dishware, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
• Stock supplies at serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
• Sweep and wash floors
• Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas
• Help with food prep duties as directed, such as salad bar and cold dishes
• Help unload and put away deliveries
• Communicate regularly with management by phone, email, and text
• Previous restaurant dishwashing experience preferred
• Working knowledge of operating a commercial dishwasher
• Food safety handler and sanitation certification, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
• Ability to pass a background check
