Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and support overall store operations in Burbank, CA. You will wash dishes, stock wares, and help with deliveries while delivering courteous service to customers.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand 6–8 hours, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior retail experience is not required.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Standing for 6-8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment to standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
