Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support dishwashing, cleaning, stocking, and basic prep in a fast-paced store kitchen. You will ensure a sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and teammates, handle deliveries, rotate stock, follow health standards, and participate in opening, mid, and closing duties as needed.

Experience is not required, but reliability, strong work ethic, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• No retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assist with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrive on time and be ready to work; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers and vendors as needed.
• Maximize sales potential through proper prep, storage, and merchandising procedures.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary working and shopping environment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; report safety hazards.
