Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a dedicated team member to wash dishes and keep the kitchen area clean and organized.

You will follow standard operating procedures, support health and safety regulations, and assist with deliveries, storage, and stocking while providing courteous service to customers and Team Members. No prior retail experience is required for this entry-level role. The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds, standing 6–8 hours, and a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment per cleanliness standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store/regional/national leadership.
