Stonebridge Hospitality Management in Las Vegas, NV seeks a part-time Steward to ensure the orderly flow of china, glassware, and silver while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and related areas. This role supports all outlets and banquets by providing necessary supplies and keeping storage areas sanitary.

The position requires knowledge of sanitation standards, ability to operate dishwashing equipment, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas.
• Ensures the proper handling and storage of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Monitors the dishwashing machine for proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Assists in transporting food and equipment to banquet and dining areas as needed.
• Follows health department regulations and hotel standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Disposes of trash and recycling in accordance with local regulations.
• Restocks dishes, glassware, and silverware in the kitchen and service areas.
• Communicates with the culinary team to ensure the timely delivery of kitchen equipment.
• Performs routine cleaning tasks such as mopping floors and wiping down surfaces.
• Assists with setting up and breaking down kitchen equipment for events.
