Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino is seeking a diligent kitchen steward to support dishwashing and general cleaning tasks in our bustling kitchen. You will wash, sanitize, and organize pots, pans, and all kitchenware, operate dish machines, and assist with banquet setup and breakdown.

Responsibilities include cleaning stainless steel surfaces, carts, and refrigeration areas, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining a safe, orderly work environment.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively in English.
• A working knowledge of cleaning equipment and proper chemical usage a must
• Must have a friendly and professional demeanor
• Must be able to work any shift

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen ware.
• Operate dish-machines and three-compartment sinks.
• Clean Queen Mary’s, carts, speed racks, refrigeration, and food warmers.
• Organize and restock clean pots, pans, dishes, and all other kitchen ware.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Push and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
