Job summary

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support our kitchen team by keeping dishes, cookware, and service ware spotless while upholding sanitation standards.

You will organize storage, assist during busy service, stay adaptable, and uphold our hospitality tradition in a luxury resort setting on the sunny California coast.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to convey information clearly.
• Strong decision‑making and stress‑management skills.
• Capable of maintaining composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, scrub pots, sweep floors, and take out the trash to keep the kitchen fresh.
• Replace clean chinaware, glassware, and silver in proper storage spots.
• Maintain a positive attitude and assist teammates as needed.
• Represent the team with trustworthiness and reliability.

From scrubbing equipment to organizing utensils and ensuring food is stored and rotated just right, you're the guardian of cleanliness and order in our kitchen kingdom.

  Keep the kitchen shining by cleaning dishes, scrubbing pots, sweeping floors, and taking out the trash—making every corner fresh and fabulous for the whole team!

  Replace all clean china, glass, and silver in their proper storage spots (with care—no breakage here!)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent, and/or relevant experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Strong decision‑making skills, with the ability to evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately.
• Ability to perform effectively in stressful, high‑pressure situations.
• Capacity to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
