Job summary

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a Kitchen Steward for our banquet operations. You will keep our china, glass, and silver shining, maintain sanitation, and support the kitchen team to keep every utensil and surface spotless.

This role emphasizes organization, reliability, and a can-do attitude as you rotate stock, assist with cleanups, and represent the team with a friendly, professional demeanor in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, and/or relevant experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately.
• Ability to perform effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Capacity to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen shining by cleaning dishes, scrubbing pots, sweeping floors, and taking out the trash—making every corner fresh and fabulous for the whole team!
• Replace all clean china, glass, and silver in their proper storage spots (with care—no breakage here!)
• Bring your best smile, connect with guests and teammates (sometimes solo!), and jump into any task with a can-do, flexible attitude—because every day brings something new and awesome!
