Job summary

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe seeks an experienced Aesthetician to provide skin care services, waxing, and product recommendations in a luxurious hotel setting. You’ll educate guests on routines, maintain spotless sanitation, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Excellent interpersonal skills, Cosmetology training, and state licensure are required to join our guest-focused team in sunny California.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product Pro: Share your favorite beauty products with clients, recommending and selling must-haves that help everyone shine a little brighter.
• Wax Wizard: Work your magic with body hair removal treatments, leaving clients smooth and confident.
• Sanitation Superstar: Keep your tools sparkling clean—sterilizing and disinfecting all skin care equipment to ensure a safe, spotless experience every time.
• Skin Sensei: Dazzle clients with live demonstrations on skin hygiene and proper care routines, guiding them toward radiant results.
• Consultation Champion: Chat with clients about treatment options, explain the costs, and use your expert eye (sometimes with a visor or magnifying lamp!) to evaluate their skin—then select and apply the perfect products, from creams and lotions to tonics and masks. And when needed, refer clients to dermatologists for those trickier skin concerns!

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Typically requires a successful completion of a cosmetology program, and appropriate licensure or certification.
• Performs work under minimal supervision.
• Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• Must have high service oriented and caring disposition and attitude
• Must maintain stringent cleanliness codes
• Must exhibit high personal hygienic and grooming standards
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
