Position: Kitchen Steward (Full-time)

Primary Purpose:

The Kitchen Steward ensures an excellent guest experience by maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.

Work Performed:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, storage areas, fridges, freezers, ovens, and cupboards
• Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, and store appropriately
• Handle pots, pans, and trays
• Manage trash, clean cans, and maintain loading dock
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas
• Sanitize all kitchen and food service areas regularly
• Assist with food dish-up, event setup, and breakdown
• Perform any other duties necessary to fulfill the role

Preferred Experience: Prior related experience

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Required Licenses/Certification: Food Safety certificate (training provided if needed)

Preferred Licenses/Certification: ServSafe certification

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds regularly
• Bend and squat repeatedly
• Stand and walk for entire shift

Other: Flexibility to work days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
