Job Description

The Omni William Penn Hotel, a historic and luxury hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, is hiring for a Utility Steward (Dishwasher). This role involves cleaning pots, pans, and cookware, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area, storing items properly, and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean pots, pans, and cookware utensils
• Keep the cookware washing area and kitchen floor clean
• Store clean items appropriately
• Empty trash and operate trash compactor
• Run hot boxes to banquet spaces from the kitchen
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 150 pounds
• Availability to work all shifts (AM, PM, overnight)

Compensation & Benefits

• Union contracted rates: starting at $14.87 for the first 3 months, increasing to $15.69 after 3 months, and $16.52 after 6 months
• Union dues: $41.25/month
• Weekly paychecks
