Job summary

Spinato’s Pizzeria in Glendale is hiring family members for all Heart of House positions. Open roles include Pizza Line Cook, Saute Cook, Salad/Sandwich Cook, Prep Cook, and Dishwasher. The job requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working shifts up to 12 hours.

• Follow Spinato’s recipes and policies as stated in the handbook.

We are looking to hire family members for all kitchen (Heart of House) positions for our new Glendale location!

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

• Pizza Line Cook
• Saute Cook
• Salad/Sandwich Cook
• Prep Cook
• Dishwasher

POSITION REQUIRES:

• Lifting up to/over 50 pounds
• Environmental exposures to cold, heat
• Standing for up to 8 hours at one time
• Working shifts up to 12 hours
• Food Handler Certification

LINE COOK TASKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Setting up stations according to restaurant guidelines
• Preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Restocking all items needed throughout shift
• Cleaning and maintaining stations while practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skills
• Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
• Performing additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager
• Adhering to all Spinato’s Specifications and Recipes
• Adhering to all Spinato’s Policies and Procedures as stated in your employee handbook
• Adhering to all proper food handling procedures as set forth by the local Health Board Agency

Ken and Elaine Spinato opened their first pizzeria after moving from Chicago to Phoenix with their infant daughter Nicole in 1974. Within a year, their son Anthony was born.
