Job summary

Jason's Deli is seeking a Back of the House Line Employee to support a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will participate in multiple setup positions such as vegetable and fruit prep, salad bar assembly, meat slicing, and catering prep. You may rotate through sandwich assembly and expeditor roles as needed.

Ideal candidates have basic job training, strong communication, and a willingness to learn. Regular attendance, adherence to dress code, and health regulations are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of work experience preferred.
• Able to learn basic job routines and communicate effectively.
• Must comply with health regulations and dress code policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up back‑of‑house positions including vegetable prep, fruit prep, salad bar, meat slicer, catering prep, bread prep, and various line setups.
• Assist in frontline and backline tasks as shifts require, including expeditor and bus/dish duties.
• Support team with food preparation and line maintenance to ensure smooth service.

Job Qualifications

Education

It is preferred the applicant be enrolled in high school or a certified GED program or have their high school diploma or GED

Experience

Unless currently attending high school college or a technical or vocation school qualified applicants preferred to have at least six months work experience

Skills

Qualified applicants must be able to learn basic job routines and must be able to communicate effectively

Health

Physical Standards
