The JCC Ranch Camp, operated by Denver JCC, is a premier summer camp and a great place to work during the summer. Staff members help create a thriving community, ensuring campers have a safe and enjoyable experience. Your role as part of the Kitchen and Operations team involves supporting food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and managing kosher and allergen practices. You will also assist with camp operations, including laundry and light housekeeping, contributing to a welcoming environment.
All staff collaborate with the Camp Supervisory Team to resolve issues related to kitchen, food safety, housekeeping, and personnel. Attendance at Staff Orientations and availability to live at camp or work full-time from mid-May to mid-August is required. There is also flexibility for shoulder seasons in late-April, May, August, September, and October.
This role requires walking, standing, running, swimming, and lifting, often in outdoor and indoor settings, sometimes in noisy or stressful conditions.
