Job summary

[Unknown] is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach the team, and ensure top-notch guest experiences. The role covers kitchen leadership with cross-training in front-of-house tasks, inventory, and shift execution in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will foster a positive culture, train staff, manage scheduling and labor, and uphold food safety and quality standards across all stations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations while maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Work line stations including grill, fryer, flat top, bread station, prep, and expo as needed.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, stocking, and maintaining kitchen organization.
• Support the front of the house by running food, assisting guests, helping with the register, and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Learn and perform all restaurant positions so you can effectively support the team wherever needed.
• Help train, coach, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and shift execution.
• Help maintain inventory, monitor product levels, and assist with ordering food and supplies.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met throughout the restaurant.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, stocking, securing the restaurant, and preparing for the next business day.
• Count cash drawers, balance nightly sales, and complete end-of-day cash procedures.
• Maintain restaurant equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Delegate tasks while working alongside the team to ensure smooth operations during every shift.
• Foster a positive culture built on respect, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
